Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to crochetgenerator.app, the CrochetAI pattern generator and studio, connected account and billing services, and support interactions. Third-party services such as Google sign-in, payment providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, and advertising partners may have their own privacy policies.
Prompts, patterns, and 3D previews
When you submit a prompt, CrochetAI processes the text to generate a crochet pattern, stitch instructions, design guidance, and an interactive 3D preview. The prompt and generated result may be sent to our configured AI infrastructure, including PoolRouter, to complete the request.
Authenticated generation history may be stored so you can revisit patterns from your account. We do not use your prompts or generated patterns to identify you for advertising. Do not submit personal, confidential, or copyrighted information unless you have permission to use it.
Account and sign-in information
When you sign in with Google, we may process the identity information you authorize, such as your account identifier, name, email address, profile image, authentication tokens, and sign-in timestamps. We use this information to authenticate you, associate credits or subscriptions with your account, prevent abuse, and provide account features.
Google sign-in does not give CrochetAI access to your email mailbox or unrelated private account content.
Usage, payments, and orders
Our account services may process your account ID, plan or entitlement status, credit balance, generation counts, timestamps, and security events to provide the service and enforce usage limits.
When you purchase a subscription or credit pack, we and the payment provider may process your account identifier, email address, selected plan, currency, amount, tax information, transaction reference, payment status, and renewal dates. Complete payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by CrochetAI.
Website, device, and diagnostic information
When you use the website, we and our infrastructure providers may process your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, cookie or local-storage identifiers, response status, and security or diagnostic logs. We use this information to deliver the service, keep it secure, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and understand aggregate performance.
Support communications
If you contact support, we process your email address, message, attachments you choose to send, and information needed to respond. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or other sensitive information.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The website may use essential storage for authentication, preferences, credits, and security. It may also use analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity and display advertising through Google AdSense or similar services. These providers may use cookies, pixels, IP addresses, device identifiers, approximate location, page visits, and interactions to provide, measure, personalize, and secure their services.
Depending on your location and applicable law, we may request consent before using non-essential analytics or advertising technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser and available consent controls.
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
How information is shared
We share the minimum information needed with providers that support hosting, authentication, AI processing, payment processing, customer support, security, analytics, and advertising. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your prompts or generated patterns. Service providers may process account, billing, website, operational, or generation-request information only to provide services to us and under their own legal obligations.
Retention and security
Generation history and result records may be retained for up to 30 days to support the history page, unless you delete them sooner. We retain account, transaction, support, security, and processing records only as long as reasonably needed for service operation, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement. AI infrastructure providers may temporarily process request content and result data under their applicable terms.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections for sensitive data. No system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can stop using the service, manage browser cookies, cancel future subscription renewals, delete generation history where available, request account deletion, or contact us about eligible access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or consent rights. Some billing, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may need to be retained.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We may verify your identity before acting.
Children, international processing, and changes
CrochetAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
We may update this policy when the product, providers, data flows, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
